Staff Mobile App Guide

Help your staff get started with the Rounds mobile app

Getting Started with the Staff App

This guide helps your staff members use the Rounds mobile app for check-ins.

Downloading the App

The Rounds Staff app is available on:

  • iOS: App Store → Search "Rounds Staff"

  • Android: Google Play → Search "Rounds Staff"

    • First-Time Setup


  • Open the app

  • Enter your email address

  • Check email for the verification code

  • Enter the code in the app

  • You're logged in!

    • Viewing Your Schedule

    The home screen shows:

  • Today's Schedule: All check-ins due today

  • Upcoming: Next few scheduled check-ins

  • Status: Which are pending, completed, or missed

    • Performing a Check-in


  • Tap on a scheduled check-in

  • Walk to the location

  • The app verifies your GPS location

  • Tap Start Check-in

  • Complete each question in the checklist

  • Tap Submit when done

    • GPS and Location

    For successful check-ins:

  • Enable location services for the app

  • Choose "Always" or "While Using" permission

  • Stand at the location entrance/center

  • Wait for GPS to lock (green indicator)

    • Taking Photos

    When a checklist requires photos:

  • Tap the camera icon

  • Take the photo or select from gallery

  • Preview and confirm

  • Continue with remaining questions

    • Offline Mode

    If you lose internet connection:

  • You can still complete check-ins

  • Data saves locally on device

  • Submissions sync when online again

  • A banner shows pending uploads

    • Troubleshooting

    Can't check in - "Outside radius"

  • Move closer to the location

  • Wait for GPS to stabilize

  • Contact admin if problem persists

    • App is slow

  • Close and reopen the app

  • Check internet connection

  • Update to latest version

    • Forgot password

  • Tap "Forgot Password"

  • Enter your email

  • Follow reset instructions
