Getting Started with Rounds

A complete guide to setting up your facility management system

Welcome to Rounds

Rounds is a comprehensive facility check-in and inspection management platform. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your team up and running.

Step 1: Set Up Your Locations

Locations are the physical places where your staff will perform check-ins. To add a location:

  • Navigate to Locations in the sidebar

  • Click Add Location* or use *Quick Capture if you're at the physical location

  • Enter a name and optional area grouping

  • Set the GPS coordinates and check-in radius

  • Click Create Location
  • Step 2: Create Checklists

    Checklists define what tasks or inspections staff should complete at each location:

  • Go to Checklists in the sidebar

  • Click Create Checklist

  • Add questions and tasks (text, yes/no, photos, signatures)

  • Save your checklist template
  • Step 3: Set Up Schedules

    Schedules determine when staff should perform check-ins:

  • Navigate to Schedules

  • Click Add Schedule

  • Select the location(s), checklist, and staff member(s)

  • Set the frequency and time window

  • Enable notifications if needed
  • Step 4: Add Staff Members

    Add your team members who will perform check-ins:

  • Go to Users > Staff

  • Click Add Staff

  • Enter their details and assign to schedules

  • They'll receive an invite to download the staff app
