Account Setup Checklist

Use this checklist to ensure your Rounds account is fully configured.

Initial Setup


  • [ ] Complete your profile

  • Company name

  • Contact information

  • Logo upload

  • [ ] Set your timezone

  • Affects all schedules and reports

  • Found in Account > Settings

  • [ ] Configure notifications

  • Email settings

  • SMS settings (if using)

  • Default alert preferences
  • Locations (Do First)


  • [ ] Add your first location

  • Name and description

  • GPS coordinates (use Quick Capture)

  • Set appropriate check-in radius

  • [ ] Organize into areas (optional)

  • Group related locations

  • Makes reporting easier

  • [ ] Test location check-in

  • Visit location physically

  • Confirm GPS works correctly
  • Checklists (Do Second)


  • [ ] Create your first checklist

  • Start simple (5-10 questions)

  • Mix question types

  • Include one photo question

  • [ ] Test the checklist

  • Run through as if you're staff

  • Check question flow

  • Verify required fields

  • At least one besides yourself

  • Verify email addresses

    Once all boxes are checked, your Rounds system is fully operational. Monitor the dashboard for the first few days to catch any issues early.
